Introduction
A number of Senior Staff Quarters at Nam Shan Yuen(NSY) will be turned into rental accommodations for full-time Students from Master’s Programmes.

Location
Nam Shan Yuen is located on the south-western corner of the Campus site at 23 Nam Shan Chuen Road. The estate is used as senior staff quarters and consists of 2 blocks of low rise residential building with 8 storeys each.

Eligibility
- Newly Admitted Full-time students studying in Master’s programmes within a normal study period in Academic Year 2026/27.
- Students who have not yet confirmed any hall offer from SRO for the same residential year.
- Activated EID and CityuHK email from pre-enrolment.
(Eligibility for online pre-enrolment is contingent upon the submission of all required documents, fulfilment of offer conditions and the completion of the relevant checking processes, which may not necessarily be finalized within the hall application period. New students who are eligible for online pre-enrolment will be notified by email in due course.)

Unit Type and Floor Plan
*Due to site variation and building requirements, the units in different blocks slightly vary in size and furniture configuration, and the virtual tour are for reference only.
**There are few units located on 8/F of NSY where the lift is not reachable. Residents who assigned to 8/F shall take lift towards 7/F and walk up one floor to 8/F. The unit assignment shall be assigned randomly and announced on or before the check-in date.

Important Notes:
- Student could only select one type of units from NSY/KLNT.
- Group application and the allocation of units is on a first-come, first-served basis as per group application time in the system.
- Final assignments will be subject to unit availability and determined by the successful payment of the entire group.
Payment and Contract Arrangement
- Upon the announcement of the application results via email, all applicants in the same group are required to pay a non-refundable and non-transferable 11-month licence fee plus a one-month deposit within 24 hours to confirm their acceptance of the hall offer.
- Ensure you have read and understood the Licence Agreement and Residents’ Handbook before making the payment.
- Payment can be settled via CityUHK Pay. Payment link and details will be announced to applicants separately.
- You are required to sign the Licence Agreement.
